I am a Muggle. Can I still see a Mediwizard/Healer?
Yes, but most likely what you need is a doctor. A doctor is a Muggle profession dedicated to treating injuries and illnesses, and in maintaining human health. However, you can be admitted if you fall prey to magical attacks.
How much does it cost? does my insurance cover me?
Healthcare in the Wizarding World is different. St. Mungo’s is free as one would expect just like the modern developed world, expect for the US of course. Our cost are low as we don’t have electricity or equipment expensees. We are funded through donations, investments, and patents.
I'm currently enrolled at hogwarts. Where do I go for medical attention?
The Hospital Wing is where you’ll want to go which has been run by Madam Pomfrey since 1971. The hospital wing is well equipped to deal with all kinds of magical and mundane injuries, from broken limbs to regrowing lost bones.
Directions to our facility
To enter the premises, step through the window of what appears to be a red-bricked, condemned department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. This acts as a magical gateway to the main building, much like the barrier at King’s Cross Station to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. The interior looks exactly as a hospital should. One way you can enter is speaking to an apparently inanimate dummy in the department store.
